Valencia CF’s solidarity pencil case: A symbol of support, unity, and sustainability for schools affected by DANA

Made from the AMUNT VALENCIANS banner, this limited-edition pencil case transforms history into an act of social and environmental commitment.
Through the Fundació VCF, and in collaboration with PROYECTOS EXTRAORDINARIOS—a social enterprise—and Divina Seguros, the official insurer of the Club, Valencia CF has created the Solidarity Pencil Case, a unique product with a deeply meaningful story.
More than just a symbolic item, the Solidarity Pencil Case serves a direct social purpose. These cases will be distributed to students in schools affected by DANA, as a gesture of support for the communities that suffered the most from the devastating storm. This initiative reinforces Valencia CF’s commitment to helping those in need.
Handcrafted in Benetússer (Valencia), the pencil case is made from the ‘AMUNT VALENCIANS’ banner that Valencia CF unfurled at the Camp de Mestalla on November 23, during the match against Real Betis, in tribute to the victims, affected communities, and heroes of the DANA storm, which severely impacted several municipalities in the Comunitat Valenciana in October.
This heartfelt gesture has been transformed into exclusive handcrafted pencil cases that not only preserve a piece of history but also embody Valencia CF’s dedication to solidarity. The cases have been produced by women facing employment difficulties, through PROYECTOS EXTRAORDINARIOS, a Valencia-based social enterprise certified by the Centro de Artesanía de la Comunidad Valenciana, and a member of CERS (Club de Empresas Responsables y Sostenibles de la CV) and SANNAS (Triple Impact Business Association).
This initiative stands out for its dual commitment: social and environmental. By repurposing recycled materials, these pencil cases contribute to sustainability, making them an eco-friendly product that respects the environment.
